 The MTI Analyzer software extends the capabilities of MTI test devices.
 Instead of a display, the measurement results can be transferred to a Windows PC and assessed visually. Signals can be saved, reloaded and printed. They can be compared visually. The current user language is English. Other language versions are to follow.
 What does the MTI Analyzer offer?
 1. Graphic representation
 With this software, the data from the small test device can be read out, displayed graphically and provided with additional data and evaluations. Instead of a single value (VAV) as the result, the signal can now be seen graphically.
 2. Save, load, print
 Test results can be saved, reloaded and played back (replay function). The envelope curve can now also be used to determine whether there were any problems during the measurement. There is also a screenshot function.
 3. Electrolyte monitoring
 The software tracks the condition of the electrolyte. If it has dried out or is chemically depleted, an indicator can provide information about this.
 4. Print test results and create certificates
 It is now possible to generate the results of a measurement as a certificate in PDF format or to print it out using a printer. Additional information such as images of the object, its weight, dimensions and a category can be provided. If this is to be done as a service, the customer's data can be saved and printed or generated as a PDF.
 It is a beta version that offers the basic functions and is constantly being developed further.
 What can the procedure do?
 The method used in the MTI Mini detects the dominant metal on surfaces. It also detects whether other metals are involved and their position in the metal series (more noble metal/less noble metal). This makes it possible to clearly distinguish between precious metals such as silver, gold, palladium, platinum and others and base metals such as tin, iron, chromium, nickel, etc. The shape and size of the object being examined is irrelevant. This is an advantage when unknown objects are to be examined.
 Other solutions, such as the eddy current method, can identify a specific coin very reliably if a real one is programmed into them as a reference. However, if it has a hole in it or is severely deformed, this technology will have problems with recognition. An unknown old Roman coin made of gold may not be recognized as such because it is not backed.
 This is where the MTI method has an advantage, as it does not know what a particular coin should look like, but recognizes the surface as gold.
 Certain deposits of precious metals, such as dental gold, are complex and misshapen. This is not an obstacle to MTI analysis. The contact point is always tested. Most testing methods for metals are not non-destructive. A sample of the metal must be dissolved in acids and then analyzed. Or the metal is vaporized at high heat to analyze the spectra. However, this means that some of the material is lost. In addition, such analyses are not cheap.
 The advantage of the method is that it can quickly provide an initial assessment of what type of metal is involved. This saves the need for laboratory testing of worthless metals.
 After pre-sorting, you can then limit the further use or recovery of the precious metals. If you want to know exactly what is going on, you will have to carry out further tests from this point onwards. It doesn't matter which initial tests you started with.
 The specific aim was to develop a process based on corrosive or strongly chemical substances. It also works without X-rays, ultrasound waves, vapors or high voltages. This allows for a more relaxed approach to testing and protects the environment and health.
